Changing the Battery

Remove the Security Pin and Battery​

  1. While using one hand to hold the battery box down, use the other hand to remove the battery pin.
  2. Pull the battery away from the electronics box.
  3. Once fully retracted, lift the battery box away from the BinBar.
warning

Hold the battery box flat while removing the pin. Do not stress the battery connector.

Reinstall the Battery Box​

  1. Lay the battery box flat on the surface of the BinBar.
  2. Line-up the magnets, and push the battery box toward the connector ensuring there are no contaminants between the magnets. Battery should sit flush against Electronics box.
  3. Ensure both holes are aligned and reinstall the security pin.

The action LED will start blinking. This means the BinBar is syncing with the cloud.
