Changing the Battery

Remove the Security Pin​

While using one hand to hold the battery box down, use the other hand to remove the battery pin.

Hold the battery box flat while removing the pin. Do not stress the battery connector.

Remove the Battery Box​

  1. Pull the protective shield on the waterproof battery connector in the direction opposite of the arrow
  2. Once fully retracted, pull the battery box away from the connector.

stressing the connector left/right/up/down has the potential to break it. Pull the battery directly away without lifting until fully disconnected.

Reinstall the Battery Box​

  1. Lay the battery box flat on the surface of the binbar
  2. Line-up the ocnnectors, and push the batter box toward the connector
  3. Once fully inserted, make sure the connector shield is fully extended (pull the shield in the direction of the arrow)

stressing the connector left/right/up/down has the potential to break it. Keep the battery box entirely flat and parallel while connecting.

Reinstall the Security Pin​

Ensure both holes are aligned and reinstall the security pin

The action LED will start blinking. This means the BinBar is syncing with the cloud.
